BMW celebrated its “90 Years of BMW Motorrad” by presenting a very special new machine; the “Concept 90.” A mini-documentary chronicled the history of the old BMW R90S alongside the creation of the new one to accompany the launch of the motorcycle.
The partnership between the German technical team and the Southern California design team is showcased through editing style and color palette choices. In collaboration with the custom bike company “Roland Sands Design,” the BMW Motorrad Design Team created an exclusive homage to the BMW R 90 S. Roland Sands and his team have given the BMW Concept Ninety an exclusive self-assured appearance with technologically refined, top-quality custom parts.
Ola Stenegard, Head of BMW Motorrad Vehicle Design, described the project by saying, “The aim of the BMW Concept Ninety is to show how reduced and pure an emotional BMW motorcycle can be.”
