The concept for this piece was born from the product’s name itself. Helium is lighter than air so we utilized motion control and heavy post work to create a unique world where the iPhone 5 in a Mophie Helium case floated carelessly amongst other helium based elements.
Popular accessories like battery cases had a hard time coming to market once Apple switched to the Lightening connector with the iPhone 5. Mophie was one of the first companies to release a battery case and the Helium Juice Pack was their flagship product. Since Mophie is one of a select few companies that’s approved to produce products for Apple, it was important for the piece to feel like an extension of Apple itself.
